The admission process for ITU has been designed to be selective in nature, ensuring that only the most passionate teachers join our cohort.

Admission Requirements

We've established essential admission requirements to ensure the ITU community maintains a high standard. When applying, you must:

Hold a Bachelor's Degree

A fundamental requirement is a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution listed by the US Department of Education or a recognized international equivalent.

Minimum GPA of 2.6

A minimum GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale is mandatory. If your degree is from outside the United States, a NACES-member evaluation will provide your equivalent GPA.

English Proficiency

If English wasn't the language of instruction at your undergraduate institution, we require evidence of English proficiency through standard exams, a transcript evaluation, or other accepted equivalencies.

Steps to Join the Program

Receive the Admission Letter

Upon clearing the interview, you’ll receive an official admission letter granting provisional admission.

Timeline: Expect your interview results within the next 5 working days.

Registration Fee: $250 (adjusted in tuition)

Secure Your Admission

Complete the necessary formalities, submit admission documents and tuition to confirm your admission.

Timeline: Submit the documents for verification and tuition within the next 20 working days.

Program Commencement

Start your education journey toward becoming a Top 1% Teacher globally.

Note: If your bachelor’s degree is from outside the US, an equalization process is required. Please contact your ITU admission advisor for more details by filling out the inquiry form.

Scholarships

At ITU, we understand the importance of continuous professional development for teachers. To support this commitment, we offer the School Nomination Grant for Advanced Studies, rewarding dedicated teachers with a pathway to M.Ed.

Eligibility

Teachers can explore this scholarship opportunity by working with their schools. When a school partners with ITU, it opens doors for its teachers to receive scholarships, benefiting both the teachers' professional development and the school's educational quality.

Scholarship Amount

Successful applicants are eligible to receive grants ranging from $300 to $600 toward admission into the Master's in Education program.

Firstly, you need to determine your eligibility for the program and then submit your online application. If your application is accepted, you'll receive a virtual interview invitation. Upon successfully clearing the interview, you'll receive an admission offer letter to join an ITU cohort. Your admission will be successful after you complete the required admission formalities post-admission grant.

The application timeline for admission is ongoing. ITU accepts applications throughout the year, and new students are enrolled monthly, with each batch referred to as 'cohorts'.


We accept a range of English language assessment tests, including TOEFL and IELTS. While the expected scores may vary, we generally recommend a minimum total score of 60 on the TOEFL PBT or an IELTS score of 6.5. If you have any queries regarding English proficiency requirements, please contact our Admissions Team.


To enroll in an upcoming batch after you've been admitted, you will need to pay the admission fee and complete the necessary enrollment steps. This will also include equalization of your current qualifications for the US Education System.
